Moving Arts Academy of Dance is available to rent for rehearsals, classes, auditions, performances, premium remote work space, photo shoots, parties, etc. Rates vary depending on the activity.
Rates -
Rehearsals (2 hour minimum) - $25/hour
Classes, workshops, auditions, video & photoshoots (2 hour minimum) - $60/hour
Event rentals - $100-$150/hour, depends on the nature of the event. A refundable deposit of will be required to hold the rental. Please contact info@movingartsstudiosf.com for a quote. Be sure to include the purpose of the event rental in your request. There is a two hour minimum.
Office rental (3 hour blocks) - $17-$28/hour
Studio features - Moving Arts Academy of Dance offers over 2700 square feet of space, two studios with naturally sprung wood floors, mirrors, waiting area, kitchen, bathroom and full sound system. The main studio is approximately 30’ x 65’, the second studio is approximately 11’ x 8’. The entire space, which includes the main studio, stage, second studio, bathroom and kitchen is 2700 square feet, high speed wifi, a clean on-site bathroom, easy off-street drop-off/pickup location, and ample neighborhood parking.

We also have a portable large screen standing tv/monitor available for use upon request. Take those zoom calls from the dance floor if you want!

* Terms of rental: Notifications of cancellation must be given at least one week prior to the date requested. Props can be stored at the studio for an additional fee, and may be subject to a damage deposit fee. Once you have rented space, please check the calendar to make sure you are listed on the exact dates/times you requested. What is on the calendar is what is expected for you to use, unless you let us know that there is a mistake or you need to change it. Moving Arts is not responsible for lost, stolen, broken items, or injuries. There is a 15 minute late policy. No refunds for late arrival after 15 minutes.
*Mirrors are glassless on rolling stands. Please let us know if you would like to use the mirrors for your activity. These mirrors can be easily punctured and damaged. Renter takes full responsibility for damages.
